Our Deepest Sympathies

The OMA board and community wish to extend our love and compassion to all who have been affected by the tragic event at the Tree of Life Synagogue on Saturday, Oct 27, 2018. To all who may have lost a family member, friend or congregant, and to those who risked their life that day and to the entire community of Pittsburgh, we send our deepest sympathy, sincere concern and hope for the healing of all.

As an organization dedicated to unity, compassion, healing and inclusion, we believe that we all can embrace this tragedy and horrific hate crime with an open heart and compassion that can extend universally to all. It is in the remembering that we are all connected as ‘family members’ residing together on this planet Earth, that we can allow our minds and hearts to honor our uniqueness and our differences and embrace the commonality among us all. Together we can heal and begin a path of embracing love and truth instead of fear and hate.

Please know that we are here to support you in this process of healing,
