Explore self-expression, shared healing, and connection with this Dancing Mindfulness workshop as part of OMA's You Are Not Alone Series.
3:30 pm- 5:30 pm EDT
POP Cafe - 1530 4th Avenue Coraopolis, PA 15108
Dancing Mindfulness offers a trauma-informed pathway to resilience by inviting safe, authentic movement and self-expression. In a space where all participation is by choice, individuals can gently explore and release stored tension and emotion without fear of judgment. This mindful, embodied approach honors the nervous system’s needs while fostering trust in one’s own inner resources.
Dancing Mindfulness is a practice accessible to any person ready for a little mindfulness, meditation, and movement to music. Our faciltator, Paula, crafts a playlist to support you in exploring, releasing stress, and connecting more deeply with your authentic self and others in community. The session is trauma-informed and invitational- Everyone is welcome to participate to their level of comfort.
No dance experience is required, and all physical abilities are welcome. It is a small group experience and limited to only 15 participants.
Give with compassion, support with kindness - This event is "Donate from the Heart". (A suggested donation is between $20-40).
This is a live event being held at the POP Cafe (1530 4th Ave, Coraopolis, PA 15108). This event will NOT be broadcasted live or recorded.
The POP Cafe closes at 3pm, so feel free to come early to grab a drink or snack from the Cafe. Take a break from your busy fro-ing and to-ing. Pop in and say hello. https://popcafes.com
