Ayurveda, the “science of life”, is the oldest known healing system in the world. It is also Yoga's sister science as the two share common Vedic roots. Yoga teaches us how to balance our mind, while Ayurveda teaches us how to balance our body through things such as food, sleep and daily routine. Ayurveda's teachings around balance and tuning into nature are especially helpful for our modern day challenges including stress, anxiety, depression, isolation and chronic health concerns.
In this seminar, we will explore the foundations of Ayurveda and its unique approach to health and daily living. Each student will learn about their Ayurvedic mind-body type and how to use this information to improve well-being. We will also have fun!
Electronic handouts of class material will be provided. No prior knowledge of Ayurveda is necessary.
This event will be recorded for later viewing. A replay will be provided to each registered participant within 48 hours of the original broadcast.
