Join Molly from Turiya Holistic Health for this 4-part series on the essential aspects of Ayurveda and how to integrate its practice into our everyday lives.
Ayurveda is the 5,000-year-old healing system of ancient India. It is commonly referred to as Yoga's sister science, as both are rooted in the ancient Vedic tradition. Yoga teaches us how to balance our mind, while Ayurveda teaches us how to balance our body through the use of food, herbs, and living in harmony with nature.
In addition to being a complete medical system, Ayurveda also offers a detailed pattern of living for self-care and preventative health.
In our series, we will introduce the foundational principles of Ayurveda. We will learn Ayurvedic approaches to food & nutrition, daily & seasonal routines, and sleep. We will also understand how Ayurveda can support us through times of stress.
Handouts of class material will be provided. Participants are encouraged to attend the full series, however drop-ins are offered for those who have a prior understanding of Ayurveda.
