From everyone at OMA—Thank You! We wish you a safe, healthy and joyful New Year!
I hope this finds everyone feeling well and having been able to find some time to relax and enjoy this Holiday Season as 2021 closed and we began a New Year. I am so grateful to every one of you for supporting all our programs through attendance, giving financial support, and most of all your belief in OMA, our mission and our determination to continue to find ways to keep the programs we believe in active and moving forward. Even through a pandemic with Foundations not offering grants to smaller nonprofits, OMA has been able to support our programs for children, youth, adults, families and trauma-informed training for educators and providers in the field of education and mental health… because of you!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! We all are so very grateful and value each moment we can be here to facilitate, guide, educate or enlighten you on your path towards healing and wellness.
As I embrace the New Year of 2022, I am choosing to see that each day brings a new opportunity to choose the same or choose differently. I know we all have struggled during this time in knowing how to believe that there will be a new “normal” when we can be free again to just breathe without a mask on or worry about the ways we live our lives, which we so easily took for granted two years ago. This has been an opportunity to re-evaluate our relationships with ourselves and each other and reprioritize what we truly desire to experience and value in our lives, for ourselves and in our relationships. And most of all, to be mindful how we use our time to be present and fully experience all that is here for us in each and every moment, and not race through moments without remembering what we experienced, how we felt, or what we even missed.
