Nature is all around us but how connected are we to the natural world?
For the past 40 years, Damanhur has conducted extensive research in the plant world and the ability of plants to communicate. Through their experiments, they have learned that plants have memory, feelings and can communicate in their own way. Damanhur has created a device that allows you to listen to the “music of the plants.” Imagine a concert performed by your favorite houseplants!
This workshop covers aspects of how to perceive the vital rhythm of plants and enter into dialogue with them. This communication can be experienced in various ways, all of which are explored: by art and music, by dreaming with trees or plants, and by communicating with them up close or at a distance.
You will learn various techniques and exercises for in-depth connection with plants and trees beyond your normal five senses. The material covers a discussion of Damanhur’s philosophy of the three Mother Worlds: the animal/human world, plant world and nature/spirit world. While these worlds have been viewed as “separate” by human beings, if we are to continue to evolve, the time has come to work together and re-unite them.
The magic of plant communication touches people in a profound way that cannot be conveyed in words. It can only be heard and felt. You will learn to view the environment and our earth in new ways, as well as understand human behavior in a different context. This workshop is for anyone who wants to personally experience direct communication with plants using the universal language of music.
This workshop will be taught by Crótalo Sésamo, an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.
Damanhur is a living laboratory for the future of humankind. It is a Federation of Spiritual Communities, with its own Constitution, culture, art, music, currency, schools and use of science and technology. The Community was founded in 1975 from the inspiration of Falco Tarassaco (1950-2013). His enlightened and pragmatic vision created a fertile reality based on solidarity, sharing, love and respect for the environment. Damanhur is perhaps best known for its extraordinary subterranean work of art and architecture, a cathedral known as the Temples of Humankind. The Temples have been profiled on international television as the "Eighth Wonder of The World." This complex was entirely dug by hand into the heart of the mountain. Decorated with mosaics, stained glass, sculptures, wall paintings and other works of art, it is dedicated to the awakening of the divine spark present within every human being.

I am sending a check today to register for the class. I wondered if I should bring a lunch. I’m looking forward to it!
