What is Primordial Sound Meditation?
Primordial Sound Meditation is a meditation technique originating in the ancient wisdom of India. Primordial Sounds—the basic, most essential sounds of nature—are used to disconnect us from the activity of life. These individually selected sounds, known as mantras, are based on the vibration the universe was making at the moment of your birth.
Once your Primordial Sound mantra has been determined, you will be taught how to use it on a daily basis to reawaken balance, tranquility and compassion within.
How will Primordial Sound Meditation affect my health?
Nowadays, doctors are increasingly citing stress as a major contributing factor to most illnesses. Even though meditation should not be considered a cure by itself, research has shown it to be beneficial for a wide range of health problems. As stress is greatly eliminated through Primordial Sound Meditation, our minds and bodies begin to function with maximum effectiveness, creating health, vitality and happiness.
How do I learn Primordial Sound Meditation?
Primordial Sound Meditation program is taught in four short sessions as follows:
- Session 1 – “Introduction to Meditation” You will learn the basic principles of meditation; it’s history and the importance of your mantra. (Thursday 4/30 7pm or Friday 5/1 4pm)
- Session 2 – “Personal Instruction” You will receive your Primordial Sound mantra and learn how to use it, experiencing your first primordial sound meditation. (To be scheduled)
- Session 3 – “Perfecting Your Practice” You will learn the practical aspects of meditation, share your experience, and receive answers to any questions. (To be scheduled)
- Session 4 – “Higher States Of Consciousness You will learn about the higher states of consciousness that can be achieved with a regular practice of Primordial Sound Meditation. Watch a video with Deepak Chopra sharing his vision of these higher states of consciousness.
Once you complete session 1, we will schedule a personal time for session 2. Generally, Session 3 is taught the following day or with in a couple of days after learning. Session 4 is then scheduled as a follow up about a month later. Sessions are generally 60 to 90 minutes each.
There is an even more ancient primordial sound meditation developed by the original 9 first-created beings of creation: the 9 BrahmaRishis of ancient India. It has been practiced ever since, throughout history for enlightenment, up until the present; and is now known as Ajapa. The knowledge and use of it would make your project complete and successful.
