Raise Spiritual Awareness by Revolutionizing the Perspective of Coincidence

Emily Rodavich, author of Mystical Interludes I and II

7:00 pm 9:00 pm

NEW LOCATION!
East End Cooperative Ministry

6140 Station Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Everybody experiences mystical events...

As a near-death experiencer, Emily Rodavich has had many meaningful coincidences. These phenomena are generally underrated in society (brushed off as coincidence), but like NDEs, they boggle our minds, disrupt our reality, and clash with our beliefs. Not everybody can relate to an NDE, but coincidences happen to everybody regardless of socio-economic background. These experiences offer potential for initiating grassroots spiritual awareness and growth. But first, the concept of coincidence must be denormalized and reframed as spiritual phenomena. Use of the term Mystical Interludes upgrades coincidences from the commonplace to where they belong — in the family of profound extraordinary events.

Emily believes that everybody experiences mystical events and that if we are to save ourselves from destruction in this rapidly changing world, rife with division, conflict, and the impending destruction of our planet, we must reach for higher ground and encourage others to do the same. This might require us to change our way of thinking and our way of being.

During this interactive presentation, Emily will suggest ways to rise to your own higher ground by asking key questions about the differences between what we have been taught and what we know. Emily believes that insights to these differences can be found within each of us.

ABOUT EMILY
As a very young child Emily Rodavich began asking the big questions, Why am I here? What’s the purpose of life? By age 10, she experienced God/Higher Power/Universe through tearful prayers. She became consumed with gratitude and was able to forgive and also love the abusive aunt with whom she had lived for many months. At age eighteen, she had a near death experience which opened her to many mystical experiences throughout her life. Fearing ridicule, she kept silent about her NDE and most of her experiences. It wasn’t until late 2014 when Emily realized the immeasurable benefits of thinking, talking and writing about them.

Where science and spirit merge to reveal the nature of the soul and our divine origin.

Science and spirit: We need both to live in the fullest expression of ourselves as human beings. We are now at a crucial time—foretold by Damanhur founder Falco Tarassaco—when our human future depends on a new sacred story, one that explains how the physics of our natural world merges with the language of the soul and all its components (called the Inner Personalities). As this course explains, these two concepts are not divergent. Physical scientists reach into the invisible realms in order to understand the origin of matter. The "science of soul" also delves into the unseen mysteries of creation, along with the philosophy of the human intellect.

Participants will dissect the mysteries of our universe and of the human being. Based on research grounded in knowledge obtained by Falco, students will explore:

  • The nature of the soul (which help us to communicate with ourselves).
  • The Inner Personalities that are part of our divine origin as human beings.
  • Reincarnation and our journey through time.
  • The laws that regulate the universe and life.
  • Time structure.
  • Cosmogenesis.
  • The spiritual eco-systems.
  • Magic and magic technology.

This is the first level of a 4-level course designed to expand the perception of ourselves and of life in general. From this understanding, we are able to create and promote lifestyles that are in harmony and equilibrium with the universe.

This workshop will be taught by Crótalo Sésamo, an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.

Say I Do to You!

A practice of Loving, Honoring and Trusting You! Presented by Patricia Boswell

When we say “I DO” we are making a choice, a commitment to cherish the person standing before us. What if that person were you?

Self-compassion, and self-commitment, are the cornerstones of emotional health and generous living. Yet we often treat ourselves unkindly. As women, we tend to see ourselves through the lens of self-criticism and self-judgment.

We say things to ourselves we would never say to a friend.
We say yes when we want to say no.
We feel selfish when we put ourselves first.
We compare ourselves to others and come up short.
We never do enough.
We feel exhausted. Sometimes resentful.

If these sound familiar to you, join Patricia as she guides us through what it means to “Date yourself.” It is not simply taking yourself to the movies…although it could be a start - as long as it is a movie you WANT to see!

Patricia will also share the 5 major obstacles to self-commitment experienced by most women. Awareness of these habits makes challenging them possible! And change probable!

Finally, Patricia will explore daily techniques to support you to choose “YOU!” Treating yourself as well as you treat others is essential. The more you love yourself, the more love you have to offer others.

Saying I Do to You is a practice of noticing you, taking time to be curious about what makes you, YOU. It is compassionately understanding you. Being genuinely interested in you.

Imagine getting to know yourself in the same way you get to know a love interest.
Saying “I DO” to you will change your life.

About Patricia Boswell
After Patricia’s separation from her 23-year marriage, she realized the young woman that married in 1981, and the 46-year-old taking her life apart, didn’t know each other. They were strangers.

To re-connect she decided she would date herself.

Patricia will share her story of self-dating. How it changed her. Why it challenged her. And, ultimately, how she fell in love with herself.
The question she asked next was, “Do I love myself enough to marry myself?”

Her answer was, “Yes!”

So under a full moon Patricia married herself, ring and all!

Patricia is a National Board Certified Counselor, speaker, facilitator, coach and author specializing in women’s empowerment. She has 38 years of clinical experience, has a private practice in Highland Park and offers creative healing experiences for women.

Over the years Patricia has come to believe…When women speak from their hearts magic happens and the world changes. Her mission is to change the world through the gift of women’s loving hearts.

Reawaken and re-embody the ‘character’ you once were. Uncover the story of your soul across the continuum of time and space.

The "story of our soul" across the vast continuum of time and space carries with it valuable information that can assist us in our present lives. What we learn about our "former selves" can infuse our current experiences with deeper meaning, purpose, contentment and joy.

Please Note: Past Lives Research is done in levels. You can repeat this course to learn and build upon your past life intuitions, and have your accumulated intuitions  received by Damanhur's Way of the Oracle, where this information is verified. As you progress, you are able to comprehend the "big picture" and see your many lives as pearls on a necklace, each one being precious and connected by a single purpose and mission.

In this workshop, art, theatre, meditation, play, journeying and other practices are explored to help you reawaken and re-embody the "character" you once were. In doing so, you will learn how to apply this to the present to better understand your personality traits, reconnect with past competencies and overcome limitations.

Facilitated by the instructor, this class will be traced down beforehand by members of The Way Of The Oracle at Damanhur, Italy, based on each participant’s biographical data and photos. The instructor will then use powerful interactive processes and activities to facilitate the reawakening of emotions and memories of your prior life. Each participant receives the Oracle’s written description of the past life accessed in this workshop at the end of the course.

Photograph & Bio-Data Required in Advance by October 3rd: Specific information is required–a recent photo that serves as a portrait and clearly shows your eyes; also your birthdate, place of birth and name as it appears on your birth certificate. And if you have taken this course before, please state which past life you are on (your 2nd, 3rd, etc.). This info must be submitted by October 3rd. Please email your photo and information to Jennifer Evanko at jcevanko@icloud.com.

This workshop will be taught by an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.

Around the world, spiritually minded people are responding to The Call...

People who are guided by their souls are destined to bring spiritual light to humanity. Around the world, spiritually minded people are responding to The Call to transform the human condition. Such people are change agents in support of the Soul of Humanity and its evolution. Yet, at times, various internal obstacles hinder them from truly rising to their soul’s calling. In this talk, William Meader will examine the nature of The Call as it manifests within human consciousness. In addition, he will discuss how the personality (lower-self) tends to block the soul’s intention, and what can be done to overcome this tendency.

William Meader is an international teacher of The Esoteric Philosophy (Ageless Wisdom). He presents a variety of esoteric topics to audiences in Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. He has authored 'Shine Forth: The Soul's Magical Destiny' and numerous articles focused on esoteric subjects.

His work—often described as a ‘next step’ in spiritual evolution—assists students in the refinement of the higher abstract mind in order that they might align with the soul’s creative intention, thereby coming en rapport with the One Life and the ashram (inner home of the soul). William’s gentle humor, sensitivity and deep understanding of the spiritual path is appreciated by dedicated students of the Esoteric Philosophy—also known as the Ageless Wisdom —worldwide.

NEW LOCATION!
East End Cooperative Ministry

6140 Station Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206

Does your connection to the Divine need recharged? Or is it completely dead and you need a jump start? Your cell phone only works if you keep it charged, and although your Divine connection never disappears, it does require work to keep it in top condition.

So are you missing messages from Spirit? Are you having problems with ‘dropped calls’ ? Do you need a stronger network? When you’re consistently connected and in the flow, the Divine momentum brings amazing and unpredictable opportunities and experiences your way. How can you pass that up?

Bonnie will lead a guided meditation that will allow Spirit the opportunity to recharge you. She will follow that with a powerful Reiki circle to take your connection to an even higher level. As Bonnie channels Native American spirits that speak to your soul, the drums and rattles will help raise your vibration so your guides and angels can connect in an easier and more efficient way.

Be open to the possibility of direct communication and allow for the impossible! After all, with Spirit, everything is possible! And Spirit never refuses an invitation, so make sure to register for this event and give Spirit the heads up that you are issuing that invitation!

Bring a notebook or journal to record any guidance or direction you might receive.

Bonnie Hassan, Reiki Master, Medium, Psychic and Psychotherapist, first experienced God’s direct intervention in her life when a prayer uttered in church was answered in an amazing way just a few short hours later. Since that time, Bonnie’s journey has been directed by Divine Guidance in many ways, from the opening of a private healing practice to a 14,000 mile solo road trip to Alaska and back.

THE FOUR AGREEMENTS
Be Impeccable with your Word
Don’t Take Anything Personally
Don’t Make Assumptions
Always Do Your Best

Join us as Deb Thackrah teaches us, that with practice, these agreements can become integrated into our very being and therefore every area of our lives. “You need a very strong will in order to adopt the Four Agreements—but if you can begin to live your life with these agreements, the transformation in your life will be amazing. You will see the drama of hell disappear right before your very eyes. Instead of living in a dream of hell, you will be creating a new dream—your personal dream of heaven.” ~ don Miguel Ruiz

At age 15, a time when most young people were thinking about junior proms and driver's learners permits, Debbie Thackrah was exploring Transcendental Meditation and the works of Carlos Castaneda.

Her early spiritual seeking steadily evolved into a life-long journey that has carried her to an ashram in the Catskills of New York State, the desert canyons of Zion National Park in Utah, and half way across the world to South Africa, the Himalayan Mountains of India and south to Costa Rica. Debbie studies the ways of shamans and honored the teachers of Christian, Native American and Buddhist traditions.

Debbie's guiding principles include service to others, compassion for all living things, and healing practices, which are the result of her decades of study and her practical, clear-eyed view of what it means to be human.

Debbie is a master-level Reiki practitioner, medical intuitive and a cranial-sacral therapist. She has spent many years studying extensively with Bill Bauman, a modern day mystic who helps people live in deep unity with their soul's special wisdom. Debbie has also studied with the Native American elders learning their wisdom of their healing practices.

Debbie is an ordained minister who performs marriage and funeral services by request. She  is the founder and president of Feeding the Spirit, a successful non-profit organization in Greensburg, PA. Feeding the Spirit is dedicated to supplying food to all those in need in the community and shelter to the homeless.

In childhood, we learn to cope with our environment and the people in it. Our childhood coping behaviour creates "shadows" or in other words, behaviors, patterns and thoughts that continue to live in the unconscious mind and influence the way we interact with the world. (In Jungian psychology, the "shadow" is an unconscious aspect of our personality that can be positive or negative but remain hidden and therefore prone to influencing our behaviours unpredictably.)

Although these coping strategies served us well in childhood, they often create conflict for us as adults, but are so ingrained that we do not recognize them or know how to change them if we did. Maya Nicole will demonstrate how we can become aware of our shadow conflicts with a hands-on process that can help us work through these shadow behaviours.

Maya will guide us with  an "Inner Child" meditation that connects  with the “little you” that lives inside us. When we are children, our parents or caregivers are not able to meet all of the needs and desires that we have. In addition, we learn that certain parts of ourselves are not “good”, snd therefore these parts get suppressed and stored in our subconscious, which leaves us feeling as though we are not whole.

Our “little selves” needed unconditional love, mirroring, attention, healthy boundaries, affection and validation that we sometimes did not receive, so this mediation is an opportunity to parent your inner child the way he or she did not get to be parented in the past.

With discussion and Q&A afterward, Maya will be sure you leave  feeling lighter, more self aware and inspired to do the difficult work that changes every aspect of your life for the better.

Maya Nicole is an intuit and empath who’s passion is to create space for people to put their masks aside and discover what’s underneath. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology and a masters degree in social work. She combines western psychology, specifically Carl Jung’s shadow work and inner child work, with alternative medicine. Her strong intuitive senses allow her to guide people to gain access to the parts of their subconscious that drive their self-limiting behaviors and patterns.

Maya has spent the last three years traveling the world where she studied with and was certified by the world renowned spiritual teacher, Teal Swan. She also studied ancient Shamanic healing methods with the indigenous peoples of Mexico and with the Katukina tribe of the Brazilian Amazon.

Maya focuses on guiding men and women to understand and uncover the divine masculine and feminine power innate within them. In her practice, she also specializes in healing work for couples and authentic, conscious relating between partners. She enjoys being the catalyst for people to live a life authentically from their hearts and to have fulfilling relationships with themselves and the people around them.

Reorient your structured reality and transform the way you confront life's events.

Using one of the most advanced discoveries in the field of time research in Damanhur, this workshop teaches a simple and effective method using avant-garde, Selfic technology called "Time Seeds" to review the events of your past—especially those affecting the first 6-7 years of life—and reinterpret them according to a new vision of your choosing. Actively transforming the negative consequences of emotions connected to a specific memory changes, by consequence, your emotions and behaviors in the present.

Each one of us views our world through the lens of three active rivers that flow within us. These rivers were not chosen by us, but are instead the product of our education, environment and generic heritage. Everything you have learned from others at an early age was necessary—and surely thought to be in your best interest—though it was not consciously chosen by you. Your environment—culture, taboos, fears, media, morals—has created a filter in which you view and perceive current events. Contained in your consciousness is a genetic heritage inherited from your ancestors, the race mind, and the stories of your family, which you use on a daily basis to process information and make decisions.

These rivers can act as a barrier to the full use of your free will. To evolve spiritually, it is essential to learn how to navigate your rivers and choose which path to take. This course gives you the tools to achieve greater inner clarity, resulting in the lucidity needed to identify desires and projects in alignment with your core essence.

During this course, a "time seed" is inserted into your aura. It has a double path of development: one branch, as in the case of the seed related to transforming memories, develops towards the past. Another branch develops toward possible futures, which "transports" your projects. This second branch does not have a deadline; it can continue to evolve throughout your whole life, provided it is nourished with attention and use. Otherwise, after about three months, it can wither.

This workshop will be taught by an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy. See also INNER ANSWERS, JULY 18-19.

Learn how to create an open dialog with your inner personalities to recognize and interpret answers from deep within.

In life we are inundated with questions, some of which illicit a burning desire to look inward for answers. While we know the responses lie within, our multiple inner voices often speak in conflicting tongues guided by individual goals and disparate motivations, rather than a cohesive logic flow. To quiet the constant, internal noise, there is a high risk of creating a rigid rationality of easy answers or to indefinitely postpone life's hardest questions and live in a state of perpetual confusion.

But there is hope! Time Seed technology—a tool developed from the research into "time" in Damanhur and our alliance with Selfica—used in the transformation and cultivation of memories, can be effectively applied to quiet the inner voices and unlock the door that leads to the secret room we all have where the answer to any question can be found.

With perseverance and consistent practice of the techniques given in this course, you can step into this reservoir of knowledge hidden in the deepest parts of your being and give your inner sage permission to read from the ancient texts imprinted on your very soul.

This workshop will be taught by an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.  See also TRANSFORMATION OF MEMORIES, JULY 20-21.

Do you find it difficult to love yourself fully and completely? Does that little voice in your head keep telling you that you aren’t good enough? Do you struggle with feeling worthy? Is your self-esteem non-existent?

If loving yourself is still difficult for you, or you'd just like to love yourself more, join me for the opportunity to banish the old limiting ways of being and believing, and anchor in more deeply the energies of self-love and wholeness that are necessary to move forward and grow.

Through a guided meditation to help you love yourself more completely, and a unique and powerful group healing circle that uses the vibrations of drums and rattles to empower the energies of Reiki, you may experience an opening and healing on levels deeper than any you could imagine. As I channel Native American spirits and bring forth messages from your guides and angels, allow Spirit to work within you with intention and attention to help you heal in whatever way you are ready.

Bring a notebook or journal to record your thoughts and impressions. Release your expectations and trust that your Higher Power knows what you need to move you to a deeper place of self-love and acceptance!

With a Master’s Degree in Social Work, a B.S. in Human Resource Management, and nineteen years’ experience practicing and teaching Reiki, Bonnie travels around the United States providing unique and powerful healing sessions for both groups and individuals as she combines her expertise and training with her intuitive gifts. When she is not traveling, Bonnie offers group and individual healing services via teleconference and teaches classes and workshops near her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bonnie has been practicing and teaching Reiki since 2000. She is a certified Master in the Usui/Tibetan, Karuna® and Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki Systems and has channeled a new form of Reiki called Transformational Reiki, which is a blend of Native American and Japanese energies.

As a mental health therapist, Bonnie’s specialty areas include grief and loss issues, foster care and adoption, and family therapy. She earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, and her undergraduate degree from Geneva College.

Bonnie believes that if we want the world to change, we have to change/heal ourselves first. She frequently tells her clients: “If you want to go higher, you have to dig deeper. When you step out of your comfort zone, you step into your Power Zone!”

Tai Chi's Secret Facilitation of the Law of Attraction

And discover a powerful healing formula for relieving chronic pain.

7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Doors open 6:15 pm for light reception & CASH bar.

The Twentieth Century Club
FREE parking in UPMC lot across the street!

Take advantage of this opportunity to get up close and personal with a great Tai Chi master of our time. Master Eric Randolph will discuss the physics of Tai Chi and how it can facilitate the Law of Attraction. He will explain its true purpose, which can help heal and transform our mental, emotional and physical states. There will be Q&A plus a guided meditation.

In truth every beginning starts with a ton of stress and pressure, a type of birth. Growing up was very hard for Eric Randolph, being a sensitive and creative child in a household filled with anger, fear and sickness. There were even times when violence was condoned and felt as something to perpetuate as a good aspect of self awareness. From the age of 9 all the way to age 20 this way of being was what Eric had to fight against becoming inside of himself.

Finding Tai Chi at the age of 17 was a godsend and with his instructor, Master Glenn Hairston and his Shaolin brothers, he discovered the epitome of the calm, kind, and powerful energy that he needed to overcome his own weaknesses within, and so in the summer of 1990 Eric began his formal tutelage of Tai Chi Chuan.

Through his years of teaching and perfecting his practice, Master Eric Randolph began to realize the health benefits of the art, for himself and others. While watching people embrace the most beautiful aspects of themselves, turning their despair and illness into transformation, Master Eric derived a powerful healing formula that he now offers to those who quest relief from chronic illness.

Master Eric studied the art of Tai Chi Chuan for over 25 years. His specialties are Yang style Taijiquan and Taoist Medical Qigong. He has taught at the University level, lecturing at the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Forbes Metropolitan Hospital of Pittsburgh, and The Integrative Medical Community of Washington DC.

Taijiquan, commonly known as Tai Chi, is a meditative integrative learning system of universal physics which specializes in the ability to absolve all opposites so one can become one with the source to consciously perpetuate the advanced evolution of the human experience.

Sound healer and chakra educator Brooke Smokelin delightfully combines the elements of sonic science, spiritual practice and artistic expression, taking us on a musical medicine journey into the realm of pure vibration and a visceral experience of harmony. With her "full spectrum array" of Pythagorean tuned crystal bowls (the same ratios and “sound forms” that are expressed in our spiral galaxy, the growth patterns of plants, and in our own physical forms) she intentionally produces an acoustic alchemy of musical mathematics that allows for the harmonious vibration and re-organization of our watery cells, our bodies, our minds and with nature.

In a world rife with conflict, this experience of harmony invites balance, an increased auditory awareness and “deep listening”, and a relaxed and meditative state.

After an introduction, Brooke will deliver a 45-minute crystal bowl "Sound Bath" followed by Q & A.

Brooke Smokelin (aka Vox Lumina) is a musician, sound healer, yoga teacher, and environmental artist. For 25 years she has been playing the crystal bowls, using music and sound as a medium for deep relaxation, meditation and healing. She is also an experienced yoga teacher and the creator of her own style of Chakra Activation Yoga and the Chakra Activation Deck, traveling worldwide providing yoga practitioners and yoga teachers with tools and techniques to “ignite the light” within. She has a private sound healing practice in Pittsburgh and has worked for years with the integrative medical community to provide therapeutic sound experiences for patients and clinicians. Through her River Alchemy Project she revitalizes connections between people and their ecological communities and creates vibrational healing experiences for bodies of water across the country.

Join us for this fascinating presentation on human-animal bonding and learn how to better understand our dear fur (and not fur!) babies.

The spiral is one of the basic “themes” of life, and this shape occurs in the microcosm as well as the macrocosm. It can be found in everything from biology to cosmology, from our fingerprints to the position of our galaxy’s celestial bodies. It is a geometry that can recall, accumulate and redistribute energy. What are the mysteries and powers of this compelling form, and why are they needed?

What would life be like if we took time and committed ourselves to building spiral structures that convey this natural design in unity with our planet and cosmos? Find out with this opportunity to learn about building and experiencing the spiral form, which invites you to journey deeper into yourself, on the walk inwards toward its center and the divine essence present in each of us.

At its completion we will celebrate with a pot luck meal!

Some aspects of the spiral we will discuss include:

  • Why build spirals? How do they increase synchronicity, cleanse the aura, and uplift personal and planetary consciousness?
  • How can spiritual technology accelerate the evolution of consciousness? What others kinds of spiritual technology is used Damanhurian for personal, environmental and global purposes?
  • What are synchronic lines? Are there synchronic lines into our region? How do spirals help us access them?

This event will be lead by Crótalo Sésamo, Global Ambassador of Damanhur where stone spirals and labyrinths can be found in the Sacred Woods Temple of the Damanhur Federation of Communities in Northern Italy.

About Damanhur

Damanhur is a living laboratory for the future of humankind. It is a Federation of Spiritual Communities, with its own Constitution, culture, art, music, currency, schools and use of science and technology. His enlightened and pragmatic vision created a fertile reality based on solidarity, sharing, love and respect for the environment. Damanhur is perhaps best known for its extraordinary subterranean work of art and architecture, a cathedral known as the Temples of Humankind.

Photograph & Bio-Data Required in Advance by April 18th: Specific information is required–a recent photo that serves as a portrait and clearly shows your eyes; also your birthdate, place of birth and name as it appears on your birth certificate. And if you have taken this course before, please state which past life you are on (your 2nd, 3rd, etc.). This info must be submitted by April 18th. Please email your photo and information to Jennifer Evanko at jcevanko@icloud.com.

This workshop will be taught by an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.

Nature is all around us but how connected are we to the natural world?

For the past 40 years, Damanhur has conducted extensive research in the plant world and the ability of plants to communicate. Through their experiments, they have learned that plants have memory, feelings and can communicate in their own way. Damanhur has created a device that allows you to listen to the “music of the plants.” Imagine a concert performed by your favorite houseplants!

This workshop covers aspects of how to perceive the vital rhythm of plants and enter into dialogue with them. This communication can be experienced in various ways, all of which are explored: by art and music, by dreaming with trees or plants, and by communicating with them up close or  at a distance.

You will learn various techniques and exercises for in-depth connection with plants and trees beyond your normal five senses. The material covers a discussion of Damanhur’s philosophy of the three Mother Worlds: the animal/human world, plant world and nature/spirit world. While these worlds have been viewed as “separate” by human beings, if we are to continue to evolve, the time has come to work together and re-unite them.

The magic of plant communication touches people in a profound way that cannot be conveyed in words. It can only be heard and felt. You will learn to view the environment and our earth in new ways, as well as understand human behavior in a different context. This workshop is for anyone who wants to personally experience direct communication with plants using the universal language of music.

This workshop will be taught by Crótalo Sésamo, an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.

We all understand the language of archetypes. “She’s a natural mother.” “That person is always the martyr.” “She’s a warrior.” “He’s a real networker.” These statements are ways of communicating universal energy patterns (aka, archetypes).

Archetypes are impersonal patterns of power and behavior. They can explain why we are drawn to certain people, places, interests or careers and why. Having some knowledge about what they are and how they work in our lives is key to personal power and understanding our place in the world.

Knowing your own archetypes gives you permission to step into the “real you.” Recognizing the archetypal patterns of other people in your life helps you to better understand your relationships.

In this presentation, Maureen will share the work of internationally renown speaker and author, Caroline Myss, and discuss the 4 Survival Archetypes that we all have (Child, Victim, Prostitute and Saboteur), as well as several others that exist in our modern society, and how understanding them can transform our lives.

Maureen Steines Oehrle has been studying spirituality, ancient wisdom and holistic wellness for over 25 years. Maureen began hosting a lecture series in her home in 2010, which eventually became the foundation of the OMA Lecture Series in 2013.

A Founding Member of OMA, Maureen serves on the Executive Committee of OMA’s Board of Directors. She is a Reiki Master, Psych-K Facilitator, teacher and speaker and currently practices in the Aspinwall area. She facilitates classes, lectures and workshops for OMA and Green Heiress Holistic Health. Prior to moving to Pittsburgh in 1999, Maureen was an event planner in Washington, D.C.

Maureen lives with her husband Scott, their 16 year old twin son and daughter and their 2 dogs. She finds inspiration through many creative outlets including making sacred jewelry, ceramics and paintings, as well as working with crystals and sacred geometry.

Psychic and intuitive abilities should not be regarded as the gift of a few–they are latent abilities within us all. Jack Kaine discusses how spiritual practices helped him overcome personal tragedy and discover his own inherent abilities that now allow him to give insightful, intuitive readings to others.

Intuition and psychic development can occur through spiritual practices like yoga breathing and mantra, and by various forms of service to others, such as prayer and spiritual healing. While everyone can develop their psychic abilities, it may not be one's individual destiny or priority.  However, the more we listen to our intuition and act on what we hear, the better our intuition will get. And the more truthful we are, the more pure our intention becomes. And with pure intention we gain spirutual knowledge that we can use to help others.

After a personal tragedy many years ago, Jack went searching for answers. As he examined his own demise, it ultimately changed how he looked at life, and his intuitive abilities evolved.  He soon found that asking questions became different. He noticed he was receiving answers before asking a question. Through embracing his spirituality, Jack began to “see” so much more than he knew existed.

Today, Jack is eternally grateful for what he has been given. When you ask for truth, you will receive, doors will open, and people will be put in your path that help you on your journey.

As a spiritual intuitive guide, Jack Kaine has helped many people since the early 1990’s through his readings.  Jack is a Reiki Master who offers deep energy-based healing along with intuitive guidance during a session. He can help many understand the deeper roots of an issue that they may experience on nearly any issue of their lives.

Spirituality means different things to different people.  What do you think it means to be spiritually connected? How does it matter? Where do you feel you are with spirituality or are you just beginning to be curious about the conversation around the subject of spirituality?  Perhaps you are interested in engaging in conversation regarding your unique spiritual journey?  Or maybe you have an interest in developing a spiritual path and would like to discuss it (or just listen) with other like-minded individuals.

If any of the above interests you, come join Food for the Soul to share a simple meal (vegan and gluten-free) with intimate conversation, in a nonjudgmental small group environment, as we discover a deeper connection and gain understanding of topics related to Mind, Body and Spirit.

Food for the Soul, a regular initiative for OMA, is designed to give the participants an opportunity to share in a simple meal of soup and bread (served vegan and gluten-free) as well as discussions regarding introspection and ideas on various subjects related to Mind, Body and Spirit. Small groups of individuals will convene around a table and will be led by OMA members.

When Edgar Cayce, "the Father of Holistic Medicine," was under hypnosis, he could see through a person’s body, no matter where the person was physically located, even hundreds of miles away, and give a reading. Not only could he provide medical knowledge such as the cause of disease and its treatment, but he could answer questions on the workings of the universe. How did he acquire and develop this incredible ability? Why did God give this enigmatic power to Cayce? Through major illnesses of his age, the movie focuses on the life of Cayce and the mystery of the readings with the help of Shigeru Mitsuda, the president of the Edgar Cayce Center in Japan.

"The Readings, A Key to Spiritual Enlightenment” ( 90 min) will be shown and discussed.

While many of us are familiar with the work of Edgar Cayce, many in Japan are being newly introduced to Cayce by the filmmaker who leads the Japanese ARE Center, Tetsu Shiratori. "ARE" stands for Association for Research and Enlightenment, an organization headquartered in Virginia Beach that carries on the knowledge of Edgar Cayce.

Local ARE members will be on hand for a Q&A and to let you know how you can experience more of Cayce’s wisdom in the local area. Whether you already know about Cayce or are new yourself, you will find it energizing to watch this fresh point of view of fantastic information.

Did you know that Cayce made over 14,000 otherworldly journeys in his life and the information he gained from these journeys has astounded people all over the world In 1910, the New York Times carried two pages of headlines and pictures in which he was declared the World's Most Mysterious Man A national magazine ran an article titled, Miracle Man of Virginia Beach, and Cayce was swamped with an avalanche of 25,000 requests for medical help. In fact, President Woodrow Wilson sought the services of Edgar Cayce for healing and guidance while he was President of the United States and conceiving the idea of the League of Nations. Cayce is also considered to be the father of holistic medicine by JAMA, the prestigious medical journal.

About Damanhur

Damanhur is a living laboratory for the future of humankind. It is a Federation of Spiritual Communities, with its own Constitution, culture, art, music, currency, schools and use of science and technology. The Community was founded in 1975 from the inspiration of Falco Tarassaco (1950-2013). His enlightened and pragmatic vision created a fertile reality based on solidarity, sharing, love and respect for the environment. Damanhur is perhaps best known for its extraordinary subterranean work of art and architecture, a cathedral known as the Temples of Humankind. The Temples have been profiled on international television as the "Eighth Wonder of The World." This complex was entirely dug by hand into the heart of the mountain. Decorated with mosaics, stained glass, sculptures, wall paintings and other works of art, it is dedicated to the awakening of the divine spark present within every human being.

All life is about relationships. What part do you play in making the relationships in your life work?

People are complex, right?  High strung, low key, perpetually happy (or miserable), hard to please and lacking in attention span… what’s the deal? Why can’t we all just get along?

Relationships are key to navigating this thing called life, and this color code personality workshop is a fun, interactive, and effective way to encourage and foster understanding among the naturally occurring subtle and not so subtle nuances of 4 the main personality types.

The Color Code (created by Dr. Taylor Hartman) divides personalities into four colors (red, blue, white, yellow) motivated by power, peace, intimacy, and fun, respectively. The main idea behind this is that all people possess one of the four "core motives" that drive their behaviour. Simple yet profound, this idea has been used to help people improve their interpersonal relations in their personal lives and business.

Bobbi DiClaudio has worked with this platform for over 12 years and has witnessed dramatic shifts in personal and professional interactions as individuals learn to honor, respect, and effectively communicate as they consider each other’s core motives.

Excellent for team building or just navigating the many relationships we experience in everyday life, you will find this highly interactive and thought provoking for yourself and all participants.

Common Side Effects

  • Improved communication
  • Increased personal and professional production
  • Geting to know yourself a little better

About Bobbi DiClaudio

Learn Meditative use of Breath, Movement and Color for Conscious Awareness.

The human being is a magical, three-dimensional symbol capable of connecting to the laws that regulate life in the cosmos. When we find our perfect energy balance, we are able to efficiently use our complete essence to interact with and shape the varied forms present in the worlds around us.

Each one of us is a fractal of the Universe with which we share a Divine Matrix. The practice of Inner Harmonization activates your physical and subtle components, stabilizes their existence in the world of Form, and strengthens your power to create through words and thoughts. For the practitioner that seeks inner peace and to reawaken the divine spark, it is a path toward enlightenment; for those who seek to realign the chakras and cleanse the aura, it provides a structured meditative practice easily incorporated into daily life.

The origins of Inner Harmonization date back to the time of Atlantis, where it was a widespread practice used to give meaning to actions, emotions and perceptions, to manifest desires with certainty, and to live life as a continual expression of evolved intelligence. It is a discipline based on expanding consciousness and well-suited in this modern era to reconquer skills and knowledge once lost.

In this first of a three-level course, you will be taught a series of physical and subtle exercises to progressively increase your range of perception. By practicing the breathing techniques, sounds and positions, you develop your sensorial sensibility and give new energy and new "existence" to the processes that are happening inside and outside yourself, increasing their ability to interact on the ethereal and corporeal planes.

Level 1 - Sounds and Breathing
In this workshop, we will focus on the breath—the entrance to the inner self. Sound is used to stimulate the energy centers in the body (Chakras, or Adonajba in Sacred Language): listening, singing, identifying the sound within. Each exercise is made of precise movements fundamental on the path toward harmony, inner peace and balance.

This workshop will be taught by Crótalo Sésamo, an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.

Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy (VAHT), is a unique method of utilizing the vibrations of live therapeutic harp music to help bring one’s body back into balance. The harp is a resonant instrument and when it is played, one can easily feel the musical vibrations. The VAHT process harnesses the harp’s natural vibrations via amplification and channels them directly into a special mat that has embedded speakers. While lying on the mat, onw feels the harps vibrations moving through his or her body. Often the VAHT experience is said to feel like a musical massage.

Stephanie Miller, CMP, VAHPT, is a therapeutic musician, certified drum circle facilitator, composer, and performer. Her original music has been featured in two documentaries: Discover Ireland: A Literary Adventure (2005) and most recently in Bethany’s Story: The Power from Within (2013). She also performed in and provided music for Dinosaur Diorama’s web series All’s Faire.

She is also a co-founder of Music for Life of Pittsburgh, LLC, which provides music related services for every facet of life. She graduated in 2008 as a Certified Music Practitioner from the Music for Healing and Transition Program. As a CMP she provides bedside therapeutic harp music for patients in various Pittsburgh hospitals including the Children’s hospital of Pittsburgh and The Heinz Campus VA Hospital.

In 2009, Stephanie completed her training with Sarajane Williams, MA, VAHTP, as a Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy Practitioner. She offers Vibroacoustic Harp Therapy sessions at the Green Heiress Holistic Health. She has also been offering demonstrations of VAHT at the Hillman Integrative Wellness fair for attendees. In this special Damanhur Mystery School Workshop, you will re-awaken this hidden ability and travel to the “astral plane” (the realm experienced in dream state) while completely relaxed yet fully alert, expand your knowledge of reality and perceived boundaries, and freely explore your consciousness, which exists outside of the body, in higher dimensions.

As humans, we already experience this type of "projection" in our natural dream state, so we inherently know how to do it. The point of accessing these other dimensions is to gain deeper self-knowledge from them, along with an ability to control how we derive positive intelligence and wisdom for our greatest good.

The benefits from learning to stretch your understanding of other realms are many. Your knowledge of reality itself will expand, as well as your perceived personal boundaries. Once liberated from your physical constraint, you can freely explore your consciousness in unbounded space and higher dimensions. Begin to explore this experience with specialized techniques and safe ways for exercising and developing your ability as an astral body.

This workshop will be conducted by Crótalo Sésamo, an Ambassador of Damanhur from Damanhur, Italy.

Travel back in time. Explore ancient alien and extraterrestial seeds of civilization.

The existence of human beings in this universe dates back much further than we have been led to believe. The origin of the different evolutionary strands of human seeds on Earth is a result of a succession of ancient alien and extraterrestrial colonies, and their cultural and territorial influences.

In this workshop, we will focus on such classic themes as Atlantis, galactic civilizations, alien species, and stellar empires with which and with whom we have crossed paths and destinies. We will take a  historical journey and explore many answers to questions we often ask ourselves about who we are, where we came from and how we evolved to become the beings we are today.

The universe is far older than what we comprehend from ordinary history books. Understanding its narrative gives rise to dormant memories and knowledge within us that are key to completing the evolutionary project of civilization—the inner reawakening that we are all participating in, either actively or unconsciously, as a human species.

This workshop will be taught by Crótalo Sésamo, an Ambassador of Damanhur, from Damanhur, Italy.

As the year draws to a close and we begin to think about the New Year, we would like to dedicate this Food for the Soul to a conversation of hope, acceptance, compassion for all, and positivity for ourselves, humanity and our world.

Each individual can make a difference in each moment of our day and each interaction with another. We invite you to come and share what you are already choosing; your ideas; possibilities; and options that we could integrate into our daily life. We will have discussions with like minded individuals in a safe environment while sharing soup and bread together. Perhaps you might want to bring along a friend and possibly bring along someone whom you already can see is making a difference.

We invite you to come and share in a simple meal and conversation. Each individual’s “drop” of kindness, understanding, support, etc. could swell into a great sea of change. Please join us on November 29 for an engaging evening.

Food for the Soul, now a regular initiative for OMA, is designed to give the participants an opportunity to share in a simple meal of soup and bread (served vegan and gluten-free) as well as discussions regarding introspection and ideas on various subjects related to Mind, Body and Spirit. Small groups of 8-10 individuals will convene around a table and will be led by OMA members.

Kindly register online by Tuesday, November 27 in order to reserve a seat at this forum. Donations from the heart will be greatly appreciated to help defray the cost of food and service.

“To CHANGE is to Choose a Higher Anointing to Nurture, Grow and Empower.”
Anita Russell is your change cultivator. This lecture is an overview of a toolkit she developed as a means to apply personal accountability and responsibility to cultivate change through your daily growth and personal development. The SOAR On-PAR Toolkit consists of six tools:

  • Know Yourself
  • Nurture Your Life
  • Integrate Your Life
  • Connect with Others
  • Live Intentionally
  • Seize Opportunity

Anita developed the toolkit as a primary step on a journey toward lifelong growth and personal development to make your life a great story. The toolkit is a means of becoming who you aspire to be by closely examining who you are. The central question is this: Are you On-PAR to cultivate change, nurture your vision and take action to live your best life in spite of the storms you encounter? And the storms will come and you must decide how to respond in a way that makes your life a great story. These six tools are designed to help you along the way.

Anita D Russell was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. Her fluid life spans multiple disciplines, including academic research, pharmaceutical R&D, learning and development, web design, e-learning design, and youth and community leadership. Now working independently, Anita is the founder and creator of The Place to SOAR LLC, a social enterprise that includes the SOAR Coaching Academy. As a John Maxwell Certified Life Coach, Anita’s coaching practice focuses on four key areas of growth and personal development – grow daily, live intentionally, dream BIG and communicate & connect. Anita is also a published author. Her most recent publication, Empower Your Life (2018) contains stories of 21 incredible women who have navigated their way through significant, and sometimes life-altering transformations. She was first published as a contributing author in Motherhood Dreams and Success: You can Have It All (2014), an anthology filled with inspiration and wisdom by a diverse group of women from around the world. She is currently working on her debut as the solo author of a sibling story that chronicles her own spiritual journey.

In this workshop, art, theatre, meditation, play, journeying and other practices are explored to help you reawaken and re-embody the "character" you once were. In doing so, you will learn how to apply this to the present to better understand your personality traits, reconnect with past competencies and overcome limitations.

Facilitated by Damanhur guide Shama Viola, this class will be traced down beforehand by members of The Way Of The Oracle at Damanhur, Italy, based on each participant’s biographical data and photos.  Shama will then use powerful interactive processes and activities to facilitate the reawakening of emotions and memories of your prior life. Each participant receives the Oracle’s written description of the past life accessed in this workshop at the end of the course.

Photograph & Bio-Data Required in Advance by October 12th: Specific information is required–a recent photo that serves as a portrait and clearly shows your eyes; also your birthdate, place of birth and name as it appears on your birth certificate. And if you have taken this course before, please state which past life you are on (your 2nd, 3rd, etc.). This info must be submitted by the cutoff date above. Most of us are familiar with Western approaches to health care. The burgeoning field of integrative medicine has introduced different modalities of healing through Chinese Medicine and Yoga. Lilith Bailey-Kroll and Dr. Tyler Phan will provide a crash course on an innovative way to understand the body through traditional Eastern schools of thought. They will impart knowledge and wisdom about how specific health care concerns can be addressed with Eastern ideas which complement Western medicine.

ABOUT LILITH BAILEY-KROLL
Lilith was introduced to yoga in her teens to address physical discomfort from scoliosis, which has greatly improved with regular practice of yoga. Because of her own experience, she has a compassionate approach to teaching others and helping all students with their personal physical challenges

She began teaching yoga in 1999 after completing a teacher-training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco. In 2006 she opened her first clinic as a Yoga Therapist, Pratique Therapeutic Yoga. After working with more than 800 individuals, she closed the clinic in 2012 and for 5 years travelled the world, researching Tibetan and Chinese Medicine. She is now based in Pittsburgh, PA teaching yoga and studying personalized medicine in biotechnology.

ABOUT DR. TYLER PHAN
Dr. Tyler Phan is a professor of anthropology at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his PhD at the renowned University College London (UCL) researching Chinese medicine in America and his Master’s from Britain’s distinguished School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) where he focused on Tibetan Medicine (Sowa Rigpa). Outside of academia, he is a fifth-generation practitioner of Vietnamese medicine and has nearly eighteen years’ experience.

In 1989 Congress passed Public Law 101-112, officially designating October of that year as National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Such legislation has been passed each year since.

As this month comes to an end, the important discussion it brings to the forefront about domestic violence’s horrific repercussions should not.

What are the steps that lead the Soul toward eventual enlightenment and perfected expression?

For those who are consciously walking the Path, the question of spiritual purpose is a topic of interest and inquiry, though the answer often seems locked away and difficult to grasp. In this presentation, William Meader will examine this profound question from several angles. The search for right relationship; divine indifference, and the establishment of a point of tension, will be emphasized as keys that can reveal the soul’s destiny. These topics (and others) will be presented with the understanding that the soul’s purpose invariably pertains to the new civilization that is emerging before our eyes.

Healing at its core is knowing and coming into alignment with Self and one's own personal connection to the Universe.

In this lecture, Reverend Jenn Shepherd will give demonstrations of both healing and mediumship, and explain what she has learned through her work in her chosen modalities. She will discuss the myths and perceptions of various modalities and will show how the study and practice of mediumship fits into the Healing aspects of self as well as those served on a soul level from the other side of life.

As an ordained Spiritualist Minister and a recognized medium and healer, Jenn's practice and knowledge of energy with QiGong and Reiki has greatly aided in her mediumistic development. Years of insight and training (in particular with Master Robert Peng), has allowed Jenn’s connection with spirit to blossom and has helped lead her to the study and practice of evidential mediumship

Evidential mediumship looks at the evidential aspects of spirit communication, as well as evidential proof of the continuity of life. It's a practice that expands beyond the current variants of mediumship  by way of higher states of consciousness, mind focus and energy techniques.

Jenn has authored a  book of essays on Healing, Life, Mediumship and Spiritual Growth.  She keeps a blog, lectures (regularly at Unity in Edinboro and The White Butterfly) and teaches Spiritual Development through Spiritual Healing and Mediumship, and has recently begun teaching children meditation in collaboration with Lorraine Murray of Teach Children Meditation.

Jenn is an ordained Spiritualist Minister and the Spiritual Leader of Unity in Edinboro, PA and the co-founder of Bolts of Love in Erie, PA. She is a trained and certified Spiritual Healer as well as a Reiki Master and QiGong Healer. As an Evidential Medium she teaches Spiritual Development, Healing and Mediumship. A story of vulnerability, courage and power of a hostage to emotional pain as she transforms to a modern day warrior daughter.

Indigenous cultures such as the Aborigine, Native American and African peoples believe that our souls hold a very powerful and purposeful responsibility surrounding our ability to maintain inner balance and communication with our mind, body and spirit. The soul also is thought to be a recorder of all life events, becoming a reservoir or holding tank for unresolved emotional pain and unprocessed traumas. It is believed that emotional pain and trauma hold the most space within the soul; that is why healing is imperative! Soul clearing is a spiritual process whereby the soul must purge to create space for divine abundance. A process that awakens us and ties us back in remembering a forgotten soul contract and to master life lessons connected to healing our soul wounds; the unresolved emotional pain from our past.

Most people’s failure to purge their soul through healing will lead them to hit rock bottom.

Deneen Marlette Joyner, an Indian woman of both Native American and West African descent, will take the audience on a spiritual journey as she recounts her soul’s journey leading up to the evening she surrendered and asked God to become her teacher in healing her life. A journey ultimately leading her to heal decades of emotional pain and arrive at meeting the spiritual requirements of a century-old divine spiritual inheritance tied to familial reincarnation or linage rebirth. (A spiritual act of divine proportion whereby a past ancestor spiritually inhabits the soul and spirit of a descendant within a family’s lineage).

Deneen is a proud native of Pittsburgh, PA and is an author, wounded healer and transformational public speaker who draws upon spiritual gifts surrounding; shamanism, mediumship, spiritual intuition, channeling and clairvoyance in order to offer others a new lens for viewing an age-old problem: emotional pain.

The core of her method is centered on her ancestor’s 300-year legacy in healing lost souls, blended with her contemporary approach to self-guided healing. She is spreading her message of inspiration and hope through spiritual advising, teachings and writings.

Today Deneen steps forth as a luminary on emotional pain, using the educational component of her brand. Chosen to be empowered for sharing ancient wisdom from her ancestors with individuals and audiences, she teaches how to partner and utilize emotional energy itself as a catalyst for self-exploration, personal empowerment and spiritual enlightenment.

Deneen is the author of the newly released book: "Soul Wounds and Sacred Revelations, A Warrior Daughter’s Awakening to Pain and Destiny." She holds B.A. and M.A degrees in Psychology and Adult Education and Instructional Training with an emphasis in Curriculum Design. Over the next 12 months, OMA will be scheduling  classes from the University of Damanhur's Mystery School, covering their first-year courses. These classes will be taught by instructors from Damanhur brought here for this unique purpose and mission.

This Tuesday evening OMA is hosting a special Introduction to Damanhur. Join us on a journey into Damanhur, Europe’s largest spiritual eco-community, how it was created and why art is so strategic to its endeavors.

Formica Coriandolo, a citizen of Damanhur for thirty-five years, Ambassador for Damanhur’s Foundation, and one of the community’s most prolific self-made artists shares how artwork has been used as the foundation of its community creation. She explains how In Damanhur, members continually utilize art in order to increase community well-being and embrace diversity, as well as to process conflict. Read more about Formica.

The Damanhur community has created The Temples of Humankind, heralded in the press as “The Eighth Wonder of the World.” An extraordinary subterranean eight-chamber temple complex features remarkable paintings, mosaics, sculpture and glass art—all created to celebrate universal spirituality. The Temples were initially created within the solidarity of a community who were not primarily artists. Yet, within a field of trust and non-judgment, the miracle of the Temples continues to astound and grow, and every individual has the opportunity to create and discover the artist within.

The Dream Class: Redesign Your Dreams

A 2-day weekend workshop to gain a new understanding of how to interpret the dream world and consciously guide your dreams.

9:30 am-4:30 pm Saturday & Sunday

Taught by Formica Coriandolo, Ambassador of Damanhur, Italy

Dates: September 8th & 9th
Times: 9:30am to 4:30pm with 1 hour break, both days

Location: 221 Whetherburn Drive, Wexford, PA 15090
Price: $250 Tickets on Sale Now!

We all dream, even if we do not remember our dreams. We are always dreaming, even when we are awake. In many languages around the world, the word "dream" means both to dream during the night and also to design your life's projects and bring them to life!

Would you like to expand your understanding of what happens during sleep in order to create your daily life in a completely different way? Are you passionate about the dream dimension, but don’t know how to guide yourself through it?

Join us for this unique workshop from the School of Dreams by Damanhurian researcher Formica Coriandolo, and discover more about this ancient way of designing your life.

In Damanhur, the ability to dream has been cultivated and studied by collecting information and practices transmitted over millennia from peoples around the world. From this research, a “School of Dreams” was created over the last 40 years. In this School we explore ancient and modern knowledge about the power of dreams in order to transform your life. This weekend seminar now offered was developed to provide an introduction to a completely new approach  to life and the realization of your dreams. If you believe that sleep is much more than just rest, this workshop can offer a confirmation and guide you to a new understanding of life.

In this class you will come into contact with knowledge about the nature of not only dreams but also reality in order to begin to direct your energy towards the dream journey. Awakening the awareness that we are dreaming, while we sleep, is the first step towards lucid dreaming.

Formica Coriandolo
Since childhood, Formica has been a passionate researcher in the field of dreams. She now shares her vast body of knowledge, much of which is uniquely informed by her dream work within Damanhur, leading seminars around the world on how to develop lucid dreaming and the power of intuition.

A native of Florence, Formica has been an artist all of her life. She moved to Damanhur at the age of 21, where she engaged in sculpture and painting for the Temples of Humankind, Damanhur’s internationally celebrated underground work of art. In 1984, as the construction expanded, she learned Tiffany style art glass from a Florentine master artisan and initiated the creation of the now internationally acclaimed stained glass works of the Temples.

From 1999 to 2006, Formica was one of the elected Guides of Damanhur, with responsibility for coordinating the activities and development of the entire Federation. Since then, she has been responsible for coordination of outside researchers, sociologists and filmmakers, all interested in understanding and portraying the unique social and spiritual experiment of Damanhur.

Formica today works as an Ambassador of Damanhur in the World and is a Gaia Education certified Ecovillage Design Education coordinator. Together as part of a group of Damanhurian women, Formica explores the mythology of Damanhur through music and voice, composing songs and ballads.

A great lover of Nature, she lives in a tree house built around the trunk and branches of a beautiful oak; she is surrounded by the music the tree itself produces through the innovative “Music of the Plants” device developed in another unique line of research within Damanhur over the past forty years.

OMA’s primary goal is to create collaborative conversations regarding  the impact of trauma on one’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development as well as their interpersonal relationships and life choices. We will strive to identify needs and plan for systemic change in youth development and education programs in the Pittsburgh area.

Through collaborative conversations and learning sessions, we can grow and develop greater awareness about the needs that exist for healthy youth development. We are dedicated to teaching youth how to recognize and effectively manage their emotions in order to mitigate and prevent harmful effects of early childhood adversity and trauma. In order to do this, adult mentors and educators must be trained in these skills.

Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to learn a variety of holistic skills that can be used to support the healthy development of mind, body, and spirit—their own and that of youth.

We are committed to transparency, openness, honesty, respect, trust, active engagement, collaboration, communication, inclusivity and equity for all.

Beliefs: We believe that healing can only take place when the silence is broken, and that healing is possible when we work in collaboration. Through this collaborative model, and with the intentional creation of community partnerships, we believe we can rebuild an integrated support system for our youth so as to support the proactive development of resilience.

Vision: We envision a world in which all youth and all individuals have access to best practices that support and develop resiliency and the ability to grow in their understanding of connectedness to themselves, each other, and our earth. We envision a world in which all youth are supported and know—in deep and lasting ways—the interconnectedness of all living beings, and the ways in which we are all whole and all belong.

Your Third Eye, located between your physical eyes in the middle of your forehead, is often referred to as the ‘chakra of wisdom.’ As you grow and develop, this chakra becomes activated. As it does so, your intuitive gifts begin to show themselves.

You also develop discernment and the ability to detach from subjective perceptions and see the ‘bigger picture.’ You are more able to move with the flow of life, rather than getting caught up in the details. As you work to raise the vibration of this chakra, you gain a greater ability to transcend the ‘personal mind’ and access the universal mind.

However, if your Third Eye is blocked for some reason (old messages from the past, experiences from past lives, old beliefs, etc.), you may find it more difficult to experience the gifts of this chakra. Join Bonnie Hassan, MSW, RKRM for a guided meditation designed to help heal the originating source of any blocks (known and unknown) that may exist and give you the opportunity to more fully enjoy the benefits of an expanded and opened sixth chakra.

Bonnie will follow the meditation with a shamanic-style healing session where Native American spirits may speak to your soul in an intimate language only your soul comprehends. The vibrations of drums and rattles will further empower the healing energies of Reiki as your guides and angels offer wisdom and guidance for your continued expansion. Say yes to Spirit and begin the process of healing more deeply so you can raise your vibration and claim all your gifts! The world needs you to be your best self. You came here to be just that! Isn’t it time you took this next step?

Bonnie Hassan, Reiki Master, Medium and Psychotherapist, first experienced God’s direct intervention in her life when a prayer uttered in church was answered in an amazing way just a few short hours later. Since that time, Bonnie’s journey has been directed by Divine Guidance in many ways, from the opening of a private healing practice to a 14,000 mile solo road trip to Alaska and back.

With a Master’s Degree in Social Work, a B.S. in Human Resource Management, and seventeen years’ experience practicing and teaching Reiki, Bonnie travels around the United States providing unique and powerful healing sessions for both groups and individuals as she combines her expertise and training with her intuitive gifts.

You can reach Bonnie by phone at 412-277-0755 or email her at bonnie@bonniehassan.com To learn more about Bonnie, visit her website at www.bonniehassan.com You can also follow her on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/travelingmystic

Michael Williams came from New York City's Foster Care System and discovered that he was known by a different name and separate family from the one he had always known. What began as Foster Care Placement led to a Closed Adoption which concealed a significant chapter of his life.

This is the story of Michael's journey of recovering what was sealed off from him by reason of Closed Adoption Legislation and how he was able to recover this knowledge and create an opportunity to teach others how to retrace, reconnect, and reunite with their roots to heal from the pain of rootlessness.

In his work, Michael educates families on how to retrace, reconnect, and reunite family and kinship ties through the process of Direct-To-Consumer DNA Testing.  With his strong passion for family, Michael's work caters to the holistic needs of family and community across all walks of life.  May is National Fostercare Awareness Month and he'd like to share a personal testimonial about how he survived the trauma of Foster Care and displacement to a place of assurance of purpose and groundedness.

"Drawn from Troubled Waters" by Michael Williams

Drawn from Troubled Waters is a musical narration about how I began my adoption, search, and reunion journey in search to recover chapter one of my life concealed by rigid closed adoption laws. Audience members will embark on a storytelling journey of how I managed to discover the truth of my adoption by unearthing an amended birth certificate depicting falsified birth facts as truth and how that set me off on a journey to retrace my biological roots and family history through reuniting with my biological immediate family. This journey led me to discover a family connection to a pre-civil war adoption story found in North Carolina’s 1851 ‘Orphans Court’ case that parallels to my actual adoption story 129 years before I was born. The overarching themes in this story touches upon the trauma from the loss of knowledge of family history and kinship ties, making peace with the past to create a new life narrative of self love, and healing from the pain of rootlessness by tapping into the ancestral knowledge found through DNA Mapping technology and physically traveling to the South. The month of May is National Foster Care Awareness and this presentation is a tribute to the historic legacy of Child Welfare in America via the Orphan Train Movement which lasted from 1850-1933.

Michael Williams is the founder and director of Sankofa Genealogy Tech Seminars, LLC, teaching genetic genealogy testing strategies, genetic genealogy literacy, and designing genealogical research treatment plans for his clients since 2013. As an international speaker and lecturer Michael has recently presented in Canada and the U.S. lecturing on African-American 19th Century Slave Ancestral Research in Early American Southern History in conjunction with Genetic Genealogy research strategies, and presenting at Smithsonian museums, Regional, National and International heritage conferences, Universities, Historical Societies, and University based Family Support Centers. Michael is a New York Adoptee who has been in reunion for 20-years and is known for his unique adoption, search, and reunion story which has been featured in the Adoption Today national print publication ‘Resource Section’ in 2014, Publish America 2011 Book Review, Pittsburgh’s Three Rivers Adoption Council Newsletter, CBS Pittsburgh Lynn Hayes Freeland TV Show, Washington D.C. based ‘Research At The National Archives and Beyond Blogtalk Radio, KQV commercial AM Radio Pittsburgh Profiles with Elaine Effort, and Carnegie Mellon University One-To-One syndicated broadcast with Kevin Amos. Michael is an alum of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Communications Media and a Minor in Pan-African Studies.

ABOUT THE EVENT
The times in which we’re living are dramatic and unstable, yet pregnant with new possibilities for a future released from the shackles of fear. At a time when fear and hatred have been turned into a political force, is it possible to harness the powers of love and decency for political purposes as well?

In fact we must, for the survival of our democracy depends on it. Our task is to create a new, whole-person politics, breaking free of a paradigm based on a decidedly outdated view of the world and embracing a more enlightened understanding of our relation to the universe. We need a deeper, multi-dimensional understanding of our national story: where we have been, where we are, and where we need to go now.

As with other extraordinary times in our history — from our Founding to Abolition to Women’s Suffrage to the Civil Rights era — it is time once again to break free of an old way of being and embrace a new story going forward. As in the words of Abraham Lincoln, “… we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.”

Marianne Williamson will be touring this year, discussing how a revolution in consciousness paves the way to both personal and national renewal. In the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., “Our goal is to create a beloved community and this will require a qualitative change in our souls as well as a quantitative change in our lives.” Let us embrace the possibility of both.

We hope you can join us for this inspirational evening!

Marianne Williamson is an internationally acclaimed author and lecturer. For the last 35 years, she has been one of America’s most well known public voices, having been a popular guest on television programs such as Oprah, Larry King Live, Good Morning America, & Bill Maher. Seven of her twelve published books have been New York Times Best Sellers and four of these were #1. The mega best seller A Return to Love is considered a must-read of The New Spirituality. A paragraph from that book, beginning “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure…” is considered an anthem for a contemporary generation of seekers.

Marianne’s other books include The Law of Divine Compensation, The Age of Miracles, Everyday Grace, A Woman’s Worth, Illuminata, Healing the Soul of America, A Course in Weight Loss, The Gift of Change, Enchanted Love, A Year of Miracles, and her newest book, Tears to Triumph: The Spiritual Journey from Suffering to Enlightenment.

Marianne is a native of Houston, Texas. In 1989, she founded Project Angel Food, a meals-on-wheels program that serves homebound people with AIDS in the Los Angeles area. To date, Project Angel Food has served over 11 million meals. Marianne also co-founded the Peace Alliance.

Marianne has dedicated her travel schedule during 2018 to the Love America Tour, articulating an evolutionary wave of new possibility as principles of higher consciousness are brought to bear on our politics.

Bring your body, mind and spirit back into a positive high vibration.

At a young age Emily Pompei knew she was never alone and always had a sense of "fearlessness.” She knew what stood around her and above her was protecting her. Even so, she experienced unexplained recurring nightmares. Through her continued meditation and prayer she was able to heal herself from negative thoughts and energy. Since then she has made it her life's work to help others heal in the very same way.

In her practice as a Medical Intuitive she is able to discern, through channel, what works best in treating each client by connecting with their Angels, Spirit Guides and their own Divine Light.

In this presentation, Emily will share how she healed herself through recognition and connection to her Guides and her own Divine Light and how you can do the same. Those who have engaged their divine energy are able to live the lives they've imagined and created - full of vibrant energy, excited about their future, and at ease with who they are. Achieving this kind of life goes beyond material success - it's the root of real happiness, joy, health and peace.

Emily Pompei has been a healer and a light worker for over 25 years. As a healer in a very conservative community she kept her gifts well hidden until just recently. In her work she helps her clients clear their bodies emotionally and physically. Her goal with all of her clients is to teach them how to use the tools that will help them heal.

The techniques taught in this workshop will enable you to develop your intuitive skills, enhance your sensitivity, reach higher levels of consciousness, find answers to all of your questions, and act with calm decisiveness in any situation. Ready to gain better health and transcend patterns of suffering?

This will be a brief lecture followed by a demonstration and group flow practice for those who would like to try it, then Q&A. The practice is not required if you want to just watch.

Join Dr. Susan Amorose in a workshop designed to introduce you to the Tao Yin form of QiGong [chee-kung], a six-thousand year old Chinese flow practice closely resembling the more highly-recognized Tai Chi. It is a holistic system of healing that combines coordinated movements, breathing, and meditation. The practice originated in China and is traditionally viewed as a way to cultivate, circulate, and manage life energy, or qi (chi) by recognizing our special role as humans possessing consciousness combined with free will in tethering the energies and intelligence of the cosmos through our unique awareness.

We "bring down the heavens" as we cultivate the flow of qi or life essence within our bodies, unlocking our minds and connecting our spirits toward greater capacity and flow. We join the energy of the cosmos by drawing it through us and bringing it forth here on earth, all the while honoring our divine role as the tether, the conscious, therefore uniquely sacred connection between heaven and earth. Learn to ground, clear, and sense energy as well as move it through your body and energy field or aura, to produce greater well-being, increased vitality, and potential in all areas of living.

Learn about the basic postures and breathing of the Tao Yin Five practice, the impact of Qi flow within the major five yin organs, the five elements associated with these organs, as well as the seasons, colors and natures of these. We will explore the nature of Yin and Yang, assertive and receptive forces within us and at work in the world around us.

Susan M. Amorose, DMQ, RMT, holds a doctorate in the Ancient Chinese practice of Medical QiGong [chee-kung] and is a clinical practitioner, certifying instructor, curriculum designer and speaker for integrative healing and alternative therapies, including Reiki, QiGong, Yin Yang theory, Sacred Geometry, oils, essences and meditation. Susan is a certified Reiki Master Healer and certifying Teacher of the Usui Shiki Ryoho System.

Susan’s professional path has permitted her the privilege of work and travel throughout the globe. She has a wide range of intercontinental colleagues and students, and therefore, a faceted perspective on both healing approaches and solutions at the personal health and well-being, cultural and enterprise levels.

Combining proven approaches of the East and West, Susan’s practice offers private individual therapeutic sessions, as well as specializing in customized healing integrated with coaching and mentoring sessions to provide less compartmentalized and truly holistic results in every area of your experience. She offers workshops and seminars dedicated to more Conscious Living, Consciousness in Leadership and Team Consciousness Development using the principles of energy and dynamics within enterprise environments and organizations toward strengthening teams, grounding initiatives and developing strategies. These approaches toward better and more collaborative environments, habits of awareness and responsiveness within the workplace and the populations are delivered in a grounded, relatable fashion which serves the multiplicity of our modern environments.

Her most recent Far Eastern travels have included Japan, China, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.

Teacher Arti Bhoge (see bio)

What is Hatha Yoga?  (from the Isha Hatha Yoga website:)  “Hatha Yoga stems from a deep understanding of themechanics of the body, and uses yogic postures, or yogasanas, to enable the system to sustain higher dimensions of energy. By practicing this profound science, one can change and enhance the way they think, feel, and experience life. Hatha Yoga is about creating a body that is not a hurdle in your life. The body becomes a stepping stone in the progress towards blossoming into your ultimate possibility.

Teacher Cris Pedreros (see bio)

We want to take the physical form beyond its present level of limitations. In a way, Hatha Yoga means you want to make your comfort zone universal, instead of the small band that it is right now. Wherever and however you may be, you are at ease. You can naturally achieve a chemistry of health, joy, blissfulness and above all, balance. It is a very powerful way of living. Power, not over somebody else; it’s all about power to access life.”

"Our Incredible Ability to Communicate with Plants" by Crótalo Sésamo

Extraordinary Knowledge from the Mystery School of Damanhur, a Spiritual Eco-Community in Italy, presented by their Ambassador.

7:00 pm 9:00 pm WEDNESDAY

Green Heiress Holistic Health
Note our venue change for this event only.

209 Commercial Avenue, Suite A, Aspinwall, PA 15215

We may consider that consciousness is expansive and everywhere, but what about the the world of plant life? Do we have the ability to communicate with plants by way of sound? Join us for a fascinating lecture on the various ways that plants can behave and speak with us.

Each breath we take is evidence of the interdependence between ourselves and all the world around us. Yet, just how aware are we of this connection to the full realm of nature? For the past 40 years, the Federation of Damanhur has conducted extensive research of the plant world and the ability of plants to respond and communicate. Through their experiments, they have learned that plants have awareness, feelings and memory, and can actively communicate in different ways. And now they have created a device that allows one to listen to the “music of the plants.” Imagine a concert performed by your favorite house plants! Come find out and learn how to experience this unique connection with plants for yourself!

Learn also about the fascinating community of Damanhur in Italy as well as the Mystery School Workshops that are now being offered here in Pittsburgh! Wednesday's event (March 7) is a condensed version of the Mystery School Workshop and great introduction to this series. The Mystery School Workshops will continued to be scheduled and repeated over the next year in Pittsburgh. See the past and upcoming workshops for Pittsburgh,

Damanhur, Italy, may be one of the most unique places on earth. Founded by Oberto Airaudi Falco in 1975, Damanhur, which means 'City of Light', is the largest self-sustaining, ecological spiritual community in the 'ancient wisdom-magical tradition.' With its vast complex of homes, shops, art studios, small manufacturing centers and farms, Damanhur is highly organized, integrated, and dedicated to the unification of art, spirituality and science. The Federation is recognized by the UN as a model for global eco-villages and it is also a highly evolved mystery school. Early initiates began carving the worlds largest 5-story subterranean temple network entirely by hand and called it the Temples of Humankind. Some now consider it to be an 8th wonder of the world.

Crótalo Sésamo is an artist, Pranatherapist and spiritual healer. He is also the Ambassador to The Federation of Damanhur, in Piedmont, Italy. His first contact with Damanhur was at the age of 17 as the result of his interest in natural medicine and the development of paranormal faculties.

Crótalo has lived and worked at Damanhur as a spiritual researcher now for over 28 years. He specializes in the fields of spiritual healing and the development of human potential with the Olami Damanhur University of which he is now the Director. He is also a specialist in the fields of Spiritual Healing, Ancient Civilizations and Inner Research. He teaches courses in Astral Travel and conscious Out-of-Body Experiences, Past Lives, Inner Harmonizing, Widening of Perception, and Contact with the Plant World. His teaching has taken him all over the world: from the USA, UK, and Canada to Portugal, Holland, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria and Iceland. Learn more about Crótalo Sésamo.

The notion that there is a subtle energy field around the human body that exists beyond normal human perception can be found in many ancient cultures. What is this undiscovered energy? Many describe it as a field that has a higher frequency or vibration than normal physical matter, where a holographic universe exists, where in fact our holographic body exists.

The idea that subtler levels of reality can be accessed is not new, the ancient Chinese art of acupuncture is based on the idea that every organ and bone in the body is connected by specific points on the body’s surface. By activating these acupuncture points, it is believed that disease and imbalances affecting the parts of the body connected to the points can be alleviated and even cured.

Through the study of Quantum Physics we now know that these same points can be accessed through the holographic field. In the holographic model, the body assimilates information in a continuous coding and re-encoding process, the body in essence learns the language of change, which allows for the limitless possibilities.

Join Lisa LeRose as she demonstrates how the subtle energy systems interact and communicate on a functional level in the holographic field. This remarkable new way of looking at the universe may explain many of the mysterious phenomena such as intuition, telepathy, spontaneous remissions, and even mystical experiences and miraculous healing. We invite you to take a peek into the language and the life of your unseen body and discover your own extraordinary healing powers in the holographic universe.

Lisa LeRose is a natural health advocate, wellness practitioner, educator, counselor, talk show host, and eternal optimist. She believes that good health is our body’s natural state and that if you give your body the right environment and support . . . it can heal itself.

Holding this belief, she provides compassionate support to those seeking balance.

She is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and received her nutritional training from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

Lisa has studied with some of the most progressive minds in the holistic healing community. She is a practitioner of energy medicine and energy psychology and incorporates the teachings of a wide variety of modalities. For over 8 years, she has been a student and advanced practitioner of Matrix Energetics, Holosynchronous Energy Technologies, and Mastering Energy Dynamics under Dr. Richard Barlett. She has also been trained in medical intuition by John White; in Lomi Lomi with Kahuna Harry Jim; studied energy medicine with Donna Eden and Dr. Gregory Nicosia; as well as Reconnective Healing with Dr. Eric Pearl and Theta Healing. She is a practitioner of aromatherapy and has studied first-hand with Gary Young and Dr. David Hill.

She works with both humans and animals to develop integrated lifestyle and holistic plans for whole body health and longevity. Lisa is a constant student of the Universe. Lisa is currently working on a book in order to share, with an open heart, what she has learned.

An Awakening:  An act of waking from sleep, or a moment of becoming suddenly aware of something.

In Lillie Leonardi's lifetime, she experienced several awakenings. Each evolved her to a higher level of spiritual awareness and growth. But none as miraculous as an angelic encounter on 9/11 at the Flight 93 crash site.

As a child, Lillie clearly recalls the high-pitched sounds heard in her ear, and reflections of a mysterious "Blue Man with Wings." As she progressed on her journey into adulthood, she witnessed many events that led to dark nights of the soul. Yet like many stories of awakening, the light always followed the dark.

Lillie's journey brought her to a place of divine grace and profound awareness that something greater than her was taking place. It also created a deeper consciousness and connection to the world – both physical and metaphysical.

After 25 years in law enforcement, Lillie Leonardi decided to pursue her lifetime passion for writing. In 2013, Lillie shared her experience as a responder on 9/11 in her first non-fiction book, In the Shadow of a Badge, which sold over 30,000 copies globally. Her gripping personal account of the 12 days she spent acting as an FBI liaison between the law enforcement and social service agencies carries you into a world that combines the factual and logistical with the angelic and mystical.

With her second release in 2016, Lillie shared her life-long spiritual journey in, The White Light of Grace: Reflections on the Life of a Spiritual Intuitive. With her eldest grandchild, Lillie self-published the eBook, Before I Go through Amazon Kindle Publishing in 2016.

Mindfully Organizing Everyday Life

How would you like to be organized as a way of living for harmony, peace and beauty in your surroundings? A way that elevates one's spirit and opens the mind for new possibilities?

By physically organizing yourself and understanding the emotional and mental roots that cause disorder, you have the potential to effect enduring change and live a more harmonious and stress-free life.

Organizing is often like mowing the dandelions from your yard - they’ll just grow back. To make effective and lasting changes, you need to pull them out by the roots. Your physical surroundings are a reflection of your mental and emotional processes that are at the roots of your behavior, and this is where the weeding must begin.

Joyce Wilde is a masters level psychologist, certified mindfulness facilitator, personal mindfulness coach and author of The Wilde Woman’s Guide to Organizing in Five Simple Steps: Using Mindfulness to Change Your Habits. Joyce helps both women and men get through challenging transitions by teaching them how to organize effectively and communicate compassionately.

In this ultramodern world we can lose ourselves in a number of ways with busy lives, stressful jobs, financial burdens and mindless entertainment as an escape At times we feel like life is a crazy, tedious grind and there’s just got to be something more.

What do you think it means to be spiritually connected? How does it matter? Perhaps you feel a spiritual connection with others in relationships that are profoundly meaningful. Or maybe the state of connectedness that you experience is an affinity with nature or a oneness with all beings alive or in the heavens. It could be you have little interest in spiritual matters and take a more pragmatic approach toward life and the fulfillment of self and happiness.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to share all of your thoughts and questions about your spirituality in a safe, open and non-judgmental space? And to be able to discuss your underlying needs and fears with those who likely follow similar journeys?

Come join us to share soup and bread (vegan and gluten-free) with intimate conversation as we discover a deeper connection and understanding of topics on Mind, Body and Spirit in a community based on acceptance and love.

Food for the Soul, a new initiative for OMA, is designed to give the participants an opportunity to share in a simple meal of soup and bread (served vegan and gluten-free) as well as discussions regarding introspection and ideas on various subjects related to Mind, Body and Spirit. Small groups of 8-10 individuals will convene around a table and will be led by OMA members.

OMA is thankful for the interest and participation of its audiences and with this invitation is providing another outlet for the involvement of each individual. Please join us on December 14 for an unique endeavor during this celebratory season. Kindly register online by December 12 in order to reserve a seat at this forum. Your microbiome — the trillions of bacteria in your gut and on your skin — can tell you a lot about your health.

Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, said thousands of years ago "all disease begins in the gut." Science is catching up with antiquity. Many seemingly unrelated health problems are now being linked to underlying gut problems

In this presentation, Dr. Will Cole will focus on the importance of the microbiome and the role it plays as the foundation of your overall health and its connection with your hormones and brain. You’ll learn about the underlying factors that contribute to autoimmune spectrum disorders, in addition to the role methylation and the MTHFR gene mutation plays in these conditions. Dr. Cole will discuss the powerful world of adaptogens and how using these Functional Medicine based herbal tools can help to balance your brain and hormonal system.

Dr. Will Cole, leading functional medicine practitioner, specializes in clinically investigating underlying factors and customizing health programs for chronic conditions such as thyroid issues, autoimmune conditions, hormonal dysfunctions, and more. He consults locally in the Pittsburgh area as well as webcam and phone consultations for people across the country and around the world. Dr. Cole is a health writer for international publications such as mindbodygreen  (MBG) and lectures nationally.

Dr. Cole graduated from Southern California University of Health Sciences in Los Angeles, California. He has his post doctorate education and training in Functional Medicine and Clinical Nutrition through The Institute for Functional Medicine and Functional Medicine University.

All the world's problems can be summed up in a single word: Ego

And accordingly, all the solutions to the world's problems can also be simplified with one word: Spirit.

In this lecture, the author of "New Eyes: A Unifying Vision of Science and Spirituality" will demonstrate how quantum physics and neuroscience support the idea of oneness and how all the world's major religions point to the need for each of us to be "perfect" in our pursuit of spirituality.

Whether we know it or not -- and whether we believe it or not -- we are all on the same team in the evolution of consciousness.

Steve Treu, LPC, will explain how a shift in awareness toward the healing spirit and away from the addictive clutches of ego can make a tremendous difference in our personal lives as well as in the collective consciousness of everyone on the entire planet.

Steve Treu is a licensed professional counselor and Chief Visionary Officer for Quantum Revolution Inc. His insight-focused therapy uses quantum physics to help clients understand the scientific nature of reality, and process what it means for them from both a physical (body) and non-physical (soul) perspective as they heal themselves. As an applied quantum philosopher, Treu assists people in exploring their infinite possibilities as they improve their lives through a variety of mind, body and spirit techniques. His counseling methods are revolutionary and are geared specifically toward those struggling with addiction or mental health issues.

What is enlightenment, is it real or just a myth?

What is the history of enlightenment? All religions and spiritual traditions have a common goal of experiencing and reaching a liberated state and a state of self-transcendence. Meditation is a common denominator for this path of discovery, experience and the goal of enlightenment.

We will explore the mystical qualities of meditation as well as some of the modern thinking and research behind it. How much of this is mysticism as opposed to science? Are we the source of this experience or a conduit of a Divine source? The answer is not clear, however the experience of meditation is natural and can be experienced in your daily living.

Whether it is science-based or faith-based, the steps to enlightenment are reachable with practice and perseverance.

Dr. Brahma Sharma was first introduced to the practice of meditation when he was a medical student and has spoken and written about these aspects of lifestyle in various forms in the U.S. and abroad.  Dr. Sharma has special interests in the role of lifestyle modification in the prevention of cardiovascular disease and in the scientific basis of different spiritual practices in imparting holistic heart health.

We hope you can join us as Dr. Sharma informs us about how the ancient system of meditation has resurfaced as the modern practice of mindful meditation and the science behind its medical benefits as well as its mystical elements.

Dr. Brahma Sharma, MD graduated from The University of Rajasthan, India and spent a few years in Africa with the WHO mission.  He then did his residency at The University of Alabama in Birmingham and fellowship in cardiovascular medicine here in Pittsburgh, where he has remained for the last 20 years.  He has traveled around the world with a variety of medical missions, especially to poor and developing countries to help raise awareness about the global epidemic of heart disease and its prevention.  Dr. Sharma is currently a Professor of Medicine at UPMC.

How many times have you told yourself to quit thinking about what happened in the past?  How often does what happened in the past affect your life in the present?  Do you even know?  How many times have you tried and failed to let it all go?  Are you willing to give it another try; this time with some Divine assistance?

Join us for a guided meditation to ask Archangel Michael to use the power of his sword to cut the cords you’ve been unable to sever yourself.  There’s  no hard work for you… just a willingness to ask for help and the readiness to receive!  We’ll follow Michael’s work with a Reiki energy circle to take the release and healing to a deeper level.  Spirit will empower the vibrations of drums and rattles through the energies of Reiki, and Bonnie will facilitate messages from Spirit and your guides and angels as the circle progresses.  You’ll get what you need without needing to know what that might be!  Let a Higher Power decide and surrender yourself to Divine intervention!

Bring a tissue or two in case the release is emotional.  Bring a journal or notebook to record any insights or wisdom that surface.

Set your intention and let God do the rest!

Bonnie Hassan first experienced God’s direct intervention in her life when a prayer uttered in church was answered in an amazing way just a few short hours later. Since that time, Bonnie’s journey has been directed by Divine Guidance in many ways, from the opening of a private healing practice in 2003 to a 14,000 mile solo road trip to Alaska and back. Body image dissatisfaction is a growing epidemic. By over emphasizing our looks, society has taught women to constantly judge and dislike our bodies!

Love your Body Love Yourself is a journey into stopping the insanity and loving ourselves RIGHT NOW!!!

I’m not going to say that it is easy to love yourself.

However, what is the alternative? Is body dissatisfaction and dieting working for you??? Has it got you any long term weight loss? I know it didn’t for me-quite the opposite. It kept me binge eating, restricting and emotionally eating.

Without love we do not thrive! Love transforms. Fear conforms. Love connects. Fear Isolates. Love heals. Fear hurts. We know this intellectually however when it comes to our body their seems to be a total blind spot.

Through Movement Exercises, Breathwork, Visualizations and Heartfelt Support from the group, you will experience the release of body shame, opening of the pleasure body and how to shift negative body image to positive. You will discover How to Love yourself- RIGHT NOW.

You will learn how to:

  • Stop the Constant Body Shame Chatter
  • Get on with your life
  • Say Yes to how you look NOW
  • Accept Yourself~Feel your Beauty
  • Feel your own pleasure and juiciness
  • Let Go of the unworthy story
  • Stop Compare and Despair
